Relay for life is a Real Life event in which each year. more than 4 million people in over 20 countries take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer. The American Cancer Society is one of the most visible and successful communities in Second Life. In the past 7 years Second Life has raised approximately $2,000,000.00 through Relay for Life of Second Life and other related events.
Fashion for Life has dozens of vendors with items that have been donated from various designers throughout the grid. Items are listed at a minimum donation amount (you are free to donate more!!) and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. They are also holding a raffle, having DJ’s and other events. I will be including more information as I get it so check back often.
